The Seeds of Self-Sufficiency
Seedsage's strategy for achieving food security is centered on cultivating a resilient and reliable food ecosystem. This is accomplished through a holistic model that focuses on introducing climate-resilient cultivation to stabilize harvests against environmental challenges, promoting clean production by integrating specialized biological fertilizers and innovative pest management for safer, higher-quality food, and establishing an integrated supply chain that links local cultivation with livestock and feed operations to reduce external dependencies and strengthen domestic self-sufficiency.
Our Dedication to Cultivation
Yield & Quality: Our organic system aims for a yield of 4-5 tons per hectare, comparable to conventional yields, producing chemical-free feeds with high nutritional value.
Unlike conventional methods, our cultivation is done without synthetic chemicals or pesticides, using a sustainable, eco-friendly approach.
Technology & Innovation: We use special bacteria-based organic fertilizers, a patented technology from Universiti Malaya, to boost soil health.
Climate Resilience: We provide specific seed varieties engineered to withstand environmental challenges. Our SS-B22 variety is drought-tolerant, while SS-B10 is salinity-resilient.
Livestock & Sustainable Feed
To address the high dependency on imported beef, Seedsage has developed an integrated livestock and feed project. This initiative is centered at the Agropark location. We cultivate Juncao and a special Giant Napier grass to create high-yield, cost-effective fodder. This enables us to produce a significant volume of feed from our cultivation area, playing a crucial role in reducing the nation's reliance on imported feed.
